Not even two months after announcing he and his model girlfriend Jena Frumes were expecting their first child together, the multiPlatinum-selling singer took to social media to reveal the arrival of their son.

Announced Tuesday (May 8), Derulo documented their journey to the hospital and shared the short clip on Instagram (seen above).  Elsewhere on the platform,  Frumes shared the first photos of the youngest Derulo and captioned the sweet post:

“A glimpse of my first week with our healthy handsome little king 👑🥺💛” Frumes said. “Life now has so much more meaning & I am so grateful. I’m so so so in love with this little boy he’s everything I never knew I needed👶🏽🙏🏽 05/08/2021✨”
