Congratulations to The Weeknd. He ties Garth Brooks with a whopping 19 career wins!! Only Justin Bieber (20), Taylor Swift (25) and Drake (29) are above him and Garth Brooks. Canada is representing to the fullest. 🍁🎶

This is the award show he was supposed to dominate. He thought he should’ve won or been nominated for grammys.. his song and album was commercially success that doesn’t guarantee you grammy nominations and wins. It does grant you billboard awards

    • Jake May 24, 2021

Exactly, you’re correct. The Grammys aren’t about sales. Maybe the Grammys just wasn’t feeling the After Hours album who knows. The Grammys is the highest accolade in the music industry and Abel has won Grammys before. He’s just upset that he didn’t win or get nominated. The Billboard Awards are about sales, streaming. It’s all about success on the charts so we knew he would dominate which he deserves but unfortunately that’s not how Grammys work some people just don’t get this. They keep complaining about the Grammys if their fave doesn’t Win.one a bunch of crybabies that need to be Thankful.

LAME! Bruno Mars Makes History By Becoming The First Artist With FIVE Diamond Certified Songs, when will The Weeknd?

  4. Drake Fan May 24, 2021

So… they gave all the awards to The Weeknd because he was Ignored by the Grammys? This award show is about sales and streaming nothing else. This award show wasn’t that great. The only memorable performance was P!NK.

Ariana didn’t even win an Award and she had 3 Number 1 Singles in 2020. That’s the shocker. Taylor winning Female Solo Artist and she wasn’t even on the Year end Top 10 Singles Chart. Billboard Award will never be compared to winning a Grammy Ever!
