J. Cole has paired his incoming album ‘The Off-Season’ with a raw and insightful documentary.
Christened ‘Applying The Pressure: The Off-Season,’ the special sees the rapper unpack the rationale behind the album and overcoming some of the hurdles folk don’t see.
As relates to the latter, Cole goes into detail about veering out of his comfort zone and trying to avoid the trappings of luxury that so many MC’s before him have fallen victim to.
Stressing his desire to elevate, he makes clear that greatness is what he’s chasing.
