Taking to her Instagram Stories, the ‘Levitating’ singer expressed thanks for her mammoth support for her ‘Future Nostalgia’ era and also seized the moment to thank the “bullies” who bashed her dancing.
As widely reported, Lipa became the subject of many a meme when she first hit the scene due to her unique execution of choreography.
However, she has revealed that the digs only fueled her to get better. She said:
“I’m so grateful for all the incredible opportunities; all the amazing people I met; all the incredible lessons that I learned; touring for like, three years.
Getting bullied online … made me want to dance my a– off and just really get better. So, thank you so much — for all things good and bad, for helping me grow. I’m forever grateful.”
Lipa has been showcasing her improved skill-set over the last year, with the most recent showing being in her ‘slick visual for Love Again.’
The thing that annoy me is that why y’all think everyone needs to be a dancer? Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston were pop stars who wasn’t strong dancers and did just fine. I love Dua just the way she is…she doesn’t need to force heavy dancer to please ppl who aren’t buying her music neither way.

Lmao Taylor is stiff ; she definitely can’t dance period!! She just walks around the stage. As Aretha Franklin said before about Taylor Swift “beautiful gowns” lmao!! Dua has definitely improved her dancing skills recently. I like the fact that she never gave up and improved. Dua’s performing and making videos where she’s dancing imagine what the next era will look like. Good for her though she’s definitely improved her performance.

I learned Madonna’s “Don’t Tell Me” choreography in summer 2014. It’s 🔥 pure fire. One of the best and sexiest ever put on a music video. It’s hard as heck to master. Took two weeks!! Madonna can dance. On period. 🤜

When you choose to dance you will get criticism.. 😂 You don’t have to be Janet Jackson to have rhythm. God gives you rhythm. 😂 Some dancers are precise, like a Janet. But you can be TLC with rhythm and a “No Scubs” iconic routine and get the job done. Call the Master choreographers.
