Iggy Azalea may be just days away from her 31st birthday (June 7), but it appears she is the one handing out gifts.
Making her first foray into fragrances, the GRAMMY nominee has unveiled a look at ‘Devil’s Advocate’ as part of her inaugural perfume line, Parfum De Azalea.
“It’s representing that unabashed, unafraid, naughty side of yourself,” she said of the scent encased in a dark bottle designed like a devilish figure.
Available today at Parfumdeazalea.com, the perfume – developed in partnership with the L.A.-based Merveilleux Beauty – is described by the Rap diva as a tribute to her homeland of Australia.
“I really wanted to have Australian sandalwood be the top note that runs throughout the scent,” she said. “I really love that scent. I grew up with it. My mother would always have that in our house.”
Fans worried the new endeavor will mean Iggy Iggz is putting music behind her needn’t fret. The mom of one – who recently released her Tyga-assisted single ‘Sip It’ (click here to watch) – has confirmed her long-awaited third studio album is titled ‘End of an Era.’
Speaking to our friends at WWD magazine recently, Azalea teased the forthcoming 16-track LP’s sonic and artistic direction.
“The first portion of my album is more heavily electronic and experimental sounding and kind of reflects my mixtape days,” she said. “The 24th section of the album is more sonically mainstream and pop-influenced…28 is a much more urban, drum heavy sound…and then when it’s the final section of the album, which is 30, those final songs really represent where I am currently, as of right now.”
As of time reported, there is no tentative release date attached to the project.
