This week, the show is all about H.E.R.! I will be hosting a listening party for her new album ‘Back Of My Mind,’ while breaking down the 21-track project, and pressing play on her 1xtra Live Lounge from 2018. And if that’s not enough.. I’ll be chopping it up with H.E.R in a new and exclusive interview.

So many tracks I could have chosen off this album but I’ve gone with this one. This track, which fits H.E.R.’s signature sultry and downtempo sound, samples the 2002 track ‘Closer’ by Goapele.

Emmavie – Uhuh Okay
Emmavie teamed up with Romderful for her latest offering and is definitely one to watch. Not only does she provide amazing vocals, but she also makes beats as well. She often details the process on her socials. One of the most talented producer-artists to come out of the UK.

Kadeem Tyrell & Omar – All My Love
It’s dope to see a collaboration with a Soul/R&B legend, alongside and a new up-and-coming artist. ‘All My Love’ has such a timeless feel to it. I want this to be a trend. More legends linking up with the new voices in R&B!
