Cardi B has been in battle mode for the last week as evidenced by the Rap diva taking to Twitter multiple times to launch a series of tweets aimed at her detractors.
The GRAMMY winner – no stranger to making headlines for her outspokenness – particularly had her sights set on critics who claim her multitude of hits were the result of strategic pandering to TikTok users.
Needless to say, the accusation had the ‘Up’ star up-in-arms – a mood that inspired some heavy clap backs. See what we mean inside:
Last week, Twitter started a thread to encourage conversations about “female rappers getting hits by going viral on TikTok. In her message included photos of popular femcees Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, City Girls, and, of course, Cardi.
The latter wasn’t having it, however.
This week, the 28-year-old stepped into the chat of another fan discussion – this time dissing ‘white twinks’ who she claims perpetuate discord among the fan groups of female artists.
Taking to Twitter Wednesday (July 14), B said:
As she singled out ‘white twinks,’ a number of triggered commenters believed her message was homophobic – a claim she’s yet to respond to.
