Per TMZ, the Hot Girl Coach is still at loggerheads with her label 1501 Certified Entertainment and its head Carl Crawford.
And the latest episode is centered on a remix of BTS’ ‘Butter’ that Meg is set to feature on.
Per docs filed, the rapper is supposed to feature on a new version of the chart-topping hit due for release this Friday (August 27).
However, she says she’s encountered a hurdle in the form of 1501’s refusal to sign off on the track because they don’t believe it would be a good look for her career.
She contends that the refusal is actually money-related.
The femcee claims 1501 is angling for her to pay a six-figure sum to sign-off on the track’s release.
Interestingly, a previous back and forth with the label, saw her secure an order preventing the label from holding up her music – an order she says they are violating.
Now, it’ll be down to a judge to see whether the ‘Butter’ remix is allowed to be released.
