After being hospitalized for her battle with COVID-19, Kelly Price was declared missing in Georgia recently – news that sent shockwaves through the music industry.
The report surfaced Friday night (September 24) after the 9-time GRAMMY nominee was found listed on the National Crime Information Center’s site as a missing person – a measure that came as the result of her children contacting law enforcement authorities to conduct a wellness check and launch an investigation to confirm her whereabouts.
As the news continued to make its rounds on the Web, the singer’s attorney – Monica Ewing – took to press to indicate Price is safe, recovering from COVID-19 in an undisclosed location, and will make an official statement in the coming days.
The ‘Friend of Mine’ diva’s sister, Shanrae Price, isn’t buying it, however. Hop inside to hear what she said:

Taking to the ‘Larry Reid Live’ show Friday night (as seen in the video above), Shanrae called in to say:
“We haven’t heard from her in over a month. And yes it was reported before Saturday, before I did the well check.
It was a phone call that went in two weeks before. And there was a process. And then I did a well check on Saturday this past Saturday and there’s a process.
We’re trying to work with the police. But, it’s time to go public.
We have not heard anything. We have not seen anything from my sister. And I’m asking people…pray…pray.
Until she resurfaces, we really don’t know what’s going on.”
As of time reported, Ewing has not responded to Shanrae’s claims.
