New information has arrived about R. Kelly‘s trial.
For, the singer has announced that he will not be taking the stand.

According to The New York Post, during his court appearance this morning, the disgraced singer was asked by Judge Ann Donnelly if he did not wish to take the stand in his defense.
To which, he said:
“Yes ma’am.”
Earlier in the day, the jury heard testimony from music consultant Julius Darrington, where he claimed that he did not see Kelly abuse any women while he worked with the singer in Chicago or traveled with him.
However, he went on to say that he had no clue as to what the ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ singer did when he was not around.
Prosecutors claim that he allegedly sexually abused girls over the past two decades. Among such victims is the late singer, Aaliyah.
Kelly is facing several charges, including: a racketeering charge and violations of the Mann Act.
Closing statements are set to take place as early as this afternoon.
