Tinashe to Host MTV VMAs 2021 Pre-Show

Tinashe is booked and busy.

For, fresh from releasing her new album ‘333,’ the performer has nabbed a coveted hosting gig at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards 2021.

The star will host the pre-show at the September 12 ceremony – which broadcasts live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Per organizers, she’ll serve as the Celebrity Correspondent alongside fellow anchors Nessa and Jamila Mustafa.

The night’s performers include Chloe Bailey, Lil Nas X, Camila Cabello, Justin Bieber, Machine Gun Kelly, Olivia Rodrigo, Shawn Mendes, and Twenty One Pilots.

    Well-deserved. She is one of the hardest working women in the industry. It is very inspiring. I have had some career setbacks of being overlooked, but she shows me that you don’t have to wait for people to acknowledge the work you put in.

    She really believes in herself and you have to, because nobody else will. They’ll see your potential and try to dim your light, making you doubt yourself because they themselves have nothing to offer.

      As an artist, you have to create a brand that is diffult for the average artist to duplicate. Many Black artist once understood this since they often experienced their art being stolen.
