Chopping it up today on the daytime talker, the 23-year-old spilled on what it’s been like embarking on her musical journey sans her sister Halle, the response to her song, dealing with naysayers, and much more.
Bailey’s appearance follows her electrifying showing at the MTV Video Music Awards and as buzz grows for her premiere project as a soloist.

The first solo offering from Chloe Bailey, “Have Mercy,” debuts in the top five of Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart as it starts at No. 3 on the list dated Sept. 25. The single also begins as the genre’s top-selling song of the week and opens in the top 40 of the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.
You all are talking about her promoting body positivity and she is near naked and NOT confident! Bold maybe. She is promoting s*** culture. I am disappointed. Jill Scott, promotes positive body image…fully dressed and confident. There are SO many fully dressed and CONFIDENT women who truly promote image and body positivity! Chloe is doing what all women pop artist are doing and have been doing since Beyonce started wearing swimsuits to perform, let’s be real. Promoting Jezebel culture under the guise of body positivity! And while she and her mentors have body guards to protect her, young normal women who are mimicking her and posting themselves are be stalked, harrassed, assualted because they are NOT protected like she is. Chloe is not a girl I want my young girls to look up to when it comes to image.
