Take Ashanti back and save her from her childless, hitless life. She WILL forgive your country grammar.

Seem like a lot of rappers who rarely or never promoted violence have enjoyed lengthty careers & their music also have more streams/views.

People are always talking on lyricism while ignoring the fact some rappers simply have more personality. I remember when Nelly received a lot of hate for NOT being real Hip-Hop, now he’s one of the most celebrated rappers.

Never promoted violence, as though his objectification of women is less of a problem. I’ve seen Nelly twice in concert (once when he first started), so I don’t dislike him, but I also don’t consider him better than the next rapper just because his music isn’t normally violent. I’m old enough to remember the Tip Drill controversy and fallout, and it was only a few years ago that he was accused of s-e-xual assault by three different women. Dancing with the Stars showed his likability factor, but it doesn’t mean that his music promotes something less troublesome than violence.

I’m not saying he’s better simply because his music is non violent. But having non violent lyrics may contribute to his longevity & his music receiving more streams/views compared to his drill counterparts.

There are drill rappers whom I think are better rappers although their content may be difficult for some people to stomach on a daily basis.

Yes the “Tip Drill” video was very gross but he has also released records such as “Just A Dream”. So with him…you atleast have enough balance too offset the more suggestive content.

Uh, Eric. . .I’ve seen the way women objective themselves and each other. You preaching a losing battle because it’s nor just the Cardi B’s & Megs of tye world. Classy women on stage talking about eating their own p^ssy. Just congratulate and move on because you have more respect for them women you’re defending than themselves.
