Per the Official Charts Company, her album ’30’ has already sold 167,000 units on the midweek update. Due to the large sales, ’30’ is pacing to become the biggest opening week of the year. As of now, that record belongs to ABBA and their most recent album ‘Voyage,’ which sold 204,000 units its first week.
Moreover, three Adele songs are all competing for the #1 position on the country’s singles chart. ‘Easy On Me,’ ‘Oh My God,’ and ‘My Little Love’ are in a close race with ‘Easy On Me’ currently leading the pack.
If ‘Easy’ manages to snag another week on top, it would become her longest-running #1 at six weeks, overtaking ‘Someone Like You.’
The final chart numbers will be released on November 26.
