T-Pain SLAMS Artists for Valuing “Popularity” Over “Longevity”

T-Pain is sounding off about the contemporary music industry – and he’s not especially endorsing.

Taking to social media, the Autotune King vented about his belief that many of today’s artists are placing more value on popularity than longevity.

He tweeted:

“The way that artists are starting to believe that momentary popularity is better than longevity is super disturbing and really want y’all to think about the future and generational wealth. It’s bigger than right now. You got a lot of lives in your hands and a generation to start.”
