The first list of performers to hop aboard the Soul Train Awards line-up has been unveiled.

Moments ago, organizers for the 50th-anniversary edition of the ceremony revealed that Bruno Mars and Anderson . Paak will be gracing the stage as Silk Sonic.
They will be joined on the bill by Ari Lennox, Leon Bridges, and Lucky Daye.
Maxwell and Ashanti, who are receiving the Legend and Lady of Soul honors respectively, will also be performing.
The action-packed cypher is back this year and will include D-Nice, Musiq Soulchild, Jac Ross, Koryn Hawthorne, Elle Varner, and Tone Stith.
Its theme will salute the 20th Anniversary of Aaliyah’s self-titled album and will see her classic ‘Rock the Boat’ serve as both the theme and instrumental for the cypher.
Hosted by Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell, this year’s Soul Train nominations sees H.E.R. lead with 8, Jazmine Sullivan and Chris Brown following with 6.
The show will simulcast on BET and BET Her on November 28 at 8 PM ET.

Nice gesture however they should be doing a tribute to Aaliyah as she has never had 1. I’m glad she will be honored in some way but she had enough successful singles to receive a tribute. Maybe the family won’t clear the music tho her uncle is a trip so they might have tried who knows..
