For, the sales for her ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ album have increased again and she is on course to break a major record as a result.

Of that sum, 353,000 units are set to come from pure sales alone, while the rest is from streams.
Many of the pure sales are set to come from vinyl, with projections aiming for vinyl sales at 110,000 units. Because of this, ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ is pacing to break the record for the biggest vinyl sales week in history, besting her own record set by ‘Evermore’ earlier this year.
With large sales on all fronts, ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ will be the biggest opening for a female album since her own ‘Folklore’ album from last year.
The news comes as Swift dominates streaming services and sets new records there too.

I´ve been 10 years ignoring her. But baby, it´s unbelievable the amount of albums she still sells. One can definitely NOT SAY she is not prolific at songwriting. She has definitely done something right cause most people´s huge sales decline big time after 5 or 10 years. Including any white artist u want to give as an example. She´s not my cup of tea and I don´t agree with the amount of important grammys she has. But one cannot deny her dedication and the amount of trye fans she has got.

John, I commented yesterday that her chart tun has been unprecedented. After the soft (but still huge) reception of Reputation and Lover i thought her career was going on a downward trajectory until Folklore came out and she totally course corrected and garnered her the best reviews of her career and her 3rd AOTY Grammy. Not only that but she re invented her sound and is now re-releasing old music to blockbuster sales in her 15th year of recording. Unbelievable.

The smartest thing she did was add some new songs to the rerelease.
