‘Candy Shop’ rapper 50 Cent didn’t exactly get the sweetest response from Madonna once she got word he was ridiculing her on his Instagram page.
As we reported here last week, the rapper shared a photo of the Pop Queen in a precarious position while captioning the post with ageist commentary.
After his stinging words topped headlines, Madge hit back with some fiery commentary of her own – a move that prompted Cent (born Curtis Jackson) to walk back his initial statement.
On Thursday (December 2), Madge – in a now-deleted post – uploaded an early 2000s photo of herself hugging the rapper and captioned it:
“Here is 50 Cent pretending to be my friend. Now you have decided to talk smack about me! I guess your new career is getting attention by trying to humiliate others on social media. The least elevated choice you could make as an artist and an adult. You are just jealous you won’t look as good as me or have as much fun when you are my age.”
Later that night, Jackson responded by sharing the same pic but extending an olive branch.
“I must have hurt Madonna feelings, she went and dug up a old MTV photo from 03. ok Im sorry i did not intend to hurt your feelings. I don’t benefit from this in anyway i said what i thought when i saw the picture because of where i had seen it before i hope you accept my apology.”

As of time reported, the ‘Sorry’ singer has not confirmed if she accepts his apology for not.
