i still shocked the Queen didn’t at least get nominated for a Oscar for Obsessed. Bey reminded me of a cross between Vivica A Fox in Kill Bill and Angela Basset in Waiting to Exhale. But now Bey will finally win that Oscar for Be Alive

Yes she will. That song is so powerful

Damn, Jennifer Hudson couldn’t even get nominated for a Golden Globe for Respect which was her best shot for anything this year. Except for maybe a Razzie for her dead-eyed performance. (Bill Condon must’ve directed her within an inch in of her life inDreamgirls.) And then Cynthia Erivo gets nominated for Genuis: Aretha Franklin. That’s gotta burn.

Poor Aretha, she never wanted JFlop to play her and this is why. Flop movie and flop soundtrack. They should have gone with an unknown who can act and sing. And before anybody starts listing Foghorn’s three top 10 hits on the R&B charts over 15 years in the industry, please stop. I was a huge fan back in 2006 but I have never seen an artist squander all the goodwill she had like Jennifer Hudson with generic song after generic album after generic films. I would be embarrassed being as awarded as she is to constantly go on stage to sing other people’s songs. And it’s been crickets about the talk show. I actually feel sorry for her.

And congrats to Beyonce but the song is whickity whack.

And “Yawning My Way Home” is a p*** poor consolation prize she aint going to win and will burst eardrums is she performs.

Lies. Aretha HANDPICKED J.Hud. Besides that, you’re speaking facts. The Aretha movie was a dud along with J.Hud’s performance. The Genius series was a much better watch. Better acting, storyline and vocals. THAT shoulda been the movie tbh.

      • If You Ain’t Kniw December 14, 2021

Aretha “handpicked” JFlop after Halle Berry turned her down and years of looking for someone, ANYONE else than Jennifer. Aretha settled for Jennifer.

Billie is gonna take this. Mark my words.

  7. Shayla Queen™ 👑 December 13, 2021

I’m rooting for Billie. That No Time to Die song is epic.

    • Strawberry December 13, 2021

Of course Billie gonna win it. She’s WHITE.

  8. King Khia December 13, 2021

Billie or Jennifer will win. At least, Bey was nominated, but this is not her time. She shoulda had Khia on it or a remix.

I love me some Bee but truththough be told it’s something going on. How are you even nominated for a song that has zero play? I need a song with her because I think they just nominating her now just because of her name. Oh well congrats .

    • Strawberry December 13, 2021
