Adele continues to prove she is the queen of sales.
For, her latest album has now dominated the Billboard 200 for a third week.

This week, the set earned a 193,000 units, according to MRC Data. Of that sum, traditional album sales comprised 149,000 units and streaming units made up 43,000 units.
Additionally, ’30’ earns the largest third week for any album in more than three years, since Drake’s chart-topping ‘Scorpion’ earned 260,000 units in its third week.
’30’ was preceded by the chart-topping smash ‘Easy On Me,’ which has ruled the Billboard Hot 100 chart now for six weeks. The continued sales come as she readies her latest single from the project, ‘Oh My God.’ The song previously debuted and peaked at #5.

Self titled is ten years old. In that time adele sold twenty times as much as Beyonce. Beys last two efforts (love is everything and lion Kind ost) werent that big of sellers. Your comparison makes no sense. Mostly, because beyonce isnt that much of big seller these days, she is a touring force and will sell out stadiums within minutes, but she wont sell a million (in physical copies) in ten days, or three months…

This is still impressive!! She’s back at #1 and could be #1 again on next weeks charts. These numbers are great considering how music is consumed these days. 1,320,000 in 3 weeks isn’t bad at all. Also, over a million in pure sales already is impressive. She may not do 25 sales, but she still selling more than your faves!!
Just because you don’t do your previous numbers does not mean that your sales still aren’t great. Her streams are good. But many people buy her actual music. Her album was put on streaming platforms. Not just to buy them. Beyoncé only wounded up selling 2.5 million in the states when she did that with that album. Adele is already at about 1.4 million pure sales in only three weeks. These numbers are nowhere near a flop. Barely anyone is doing these numbers.

Someone really compared an almost 10 year album sales to a 3 week album sales. In 2013 people was still buying music NOT stream it. BEYONCE N JAY z did a joint album and it didn’t sell a million copies n it’s been years.
