LL Cool J is the latest notable name to test positive for COVID-19 and the timing means the star has had to pull out of a major performance.

Full story below…

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer announced the diagnosis in a statement and revealed that it means he consequently has had to drop out of the line-up at Dick Clark’s ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.’

He said:

“I know it’s disappointing to the millions of fans but my test came back positive for COVID, which means I’ll no longer be able to perform as scheduled at ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. We were ready and I was really looking forward to ringing in 2022 in my hometown in a special way, but for now I wish everyone a healthy and happy New Year. The best is yet to come!“

We wish LL a speedy recovery.

Restrictions in New York say the 15,000 people allowed to attend must show proof of full vaccination, but it’s very likely that many of them are positive like LL, which is why I still have questions about the process in some states. If they’re making an honest effort to lower the spread, they would require a test from everyone like some events in my area. That is the surest and fairest way to eliminate active carriers. Unfortunately for LL, he will be at home while countless people show up in Times Square and knowingly/unknowingly spread the v**** all because a one year old vax card is acceptable proof that you are v****-free in New York.

Who tf is testing 15k people for a NYE celebration? The limited testing sites are already extremely crowded and understaffed. It’s already been established that the v**** is here to stay. People just need to get vaccinated and get their boosters. It’s unrealistic to expect people to constantly get tested and produce negative results for every social gathering. It’s also inefficient and unsustainable to shut down and isolate everytime there’s a positive case. NYC will be kill itself if they keep allowing the media to amplify panic and create hysteria. Get vaccinated!!

Which is exactly why just last week alone, 1/50 NYC residents contracted C****. It’s messed up.

This is what happens when you reopen travel right before Winter

Travel and everything else should be fully opened. But the vaccine should be required for travel and almost all activities.
