On this week’s edition of the coveted count, Mimi rises from #2 to #1 with the holiday smash – ending Adele’s reign atop of the tally with ‘Easy On Me.’ (The seemingly unstoppable ’30’ lead single drops one spot to #2).
Over the course of her illustrious career, Mimi has made history on a number of occasions – and this serves as the latest page of her seismic success story.
Because, in hitting the top spot, ‘All I Want’ earns the distinct honor of becoming the first and only release to establish three separate stints at #1 on the Hot 100.
Originally released in 1994, the legendary holiday anthem first hit #1 in 2019 (becoming Carey’s 19th overall chart-topper). It repeated the feat in 2020 and has done the same this year.
So, how are the numbers stacking up?
‘All I Want’ managed its latest ascension thanks after registering the following in the most recent tracking week:
- 37.6 million US streams.
- 27.1 million audience impressions at radio.
- 7400 digital downloads.
To date, the bop has amassed US totals to the tune of 4.3 billion in radio audience, 1.4 billion streams, and 3.7 million in digital downloads.
The definition of iconic! Congrats Mariah!
