Today, Perry officially announced ‘When I’m Gone’ – a co-billed new single with hitmaker DJ Alesso.
Set to premiere on December 29, the song will arrive on the same day the performer kicks off her brand new Las Vegas residency, ‘PLAY.’
In a visual teaser for the track, Perry tells her collaborator “I think it’s time we give them what they want.”

The track, which follows 2020’s ‘Smile’ album, will see its accompanying music video premiere on January 10 on ESPN during the halftime of the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship.
