New Edition Return with ALL Six Members for ‘The Culture Tour’ with Jodeci & Charlie Wilson

Published: Monday 13th Dec 2021 by Sam

R&B royals New Edition have regrouped and are heading out on the road with fellow kings in the genre.

Full story below…

Moments ago, the ‘Can You Stand The Rain’ singers announced that all six members of the iconic ensemble will be setting sail on ‘The Culture Tour.’

The reunion trek serves as one of the more pronounced outings from the six-piece iteration of the group, which is comprised of original members Ralph Tresvant, Michael Bivens, Ricky Bell, Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown, and latter addition Johnny Gill.

They first joined forces in 1996 for the ill-fated ‘Home Again’ project and tour, before more successfully hitting the road together in 2011.

For this jaunt, which kicks off in February, New Edition will be joined by freshly reformed R&B ensemble Jodeci and R&B veteran Charlie Wilson.

I don’t know about the supporting acts, but I wouldn’t mind seeing NE again. I had the worst concert seat ever the last time I saw them. They were with Babyface, and that’s not a lineup you want to have trouble hearing and seeing.

He’s actually been hanging in there. He stayed with them on their last tour, appeared in a TV special last week with some of them, and he showed up for a recent show with BBD. He’s not in the best shape physically, so that’s the only thing I can see being a reason for him to drop out. Conflict won’t be the reason.
