Travis Scott Breaks Silence on Astroworld Tragedy in Interview with Charlamagne / Slams Claims That His Music is “Satanic”

Published: Thursday 9th Dec 2021 by Sam

Travis Scott has broken his silence on the Astroworld tragedy that saw 10 people lose their lives.

As widely reported, a mass stampede broke out at the star’s Houston show last month and claimed the lives of revelers – the youngest of whom was just 9-years-old.

In the time since, hundreds of lawsuits have been filed, with many being combined into a class action to the tune of billions.

Now, in an exclusive sit-down interview with Charlamagne Tha God on The Breakfast Club, the rapper is speaking up and out.

During the nearly hour-long discussion, Scott expresses sadness at the situation and the lives lost.

However, he clearly makes a point to relay that he is not to blame.

Speaking candidly, the MC proclaims that he is a “man of God” and slams the suggestion that his music is “satanic” and encouraged the rage culture that some say led to the chaos.

Scott also said: “they are pointing the finger at me because it is my festival” but stresses that his main point of duty moving forward is to be of service to ensure such a tragedy never happens again anywhere.

Ariana did a free concert for all those who attend the concert that Muslims Islamist extremists had bombed. Ariana did a benefit concert called One Love Manchester for the victims of the attack and she raised money for victims.

He did encourage the rage culture that led to the chaos though…? He was warned and he simply DID NOT CARE. Nevermind the fact that he uses satanic symbols and elements to be different and edgy, but now claims to be a man of God. Boy, God don’t know you.

If his music is “satanic”, why is he one of the best selling rappers?? Given a public platform to distribute his brand? sell out multiple shows OR in bed with the Kardashians??

For someone who is seen as “satanic” sure did have a lot of fans, success & clout in the world. 🤷

Things that make you go HMM!

    • I can’t December 9, 2021

Lol, that makes no sense, because all of the answers to that have specifically been laid out already. The Bible literally says Satan is the prince of this world and is capable of giving you all it has to offer. He even offered the world to Jesus to try to tempt him. There’s nothing off or confusing or out of the ordinary about it.

Exactly! My response was challenging individuals to look beyond the symbolism & question why he’s able to obtain so much if his music is “satanic”.
