It’s official: Anita Baker is bringing her ‘Sweet Love’ back to the Sin City!
Nearly two years after wrapping her first residency at Las Vegas’ Venetian Theatre, the Queen of Quiet Storm sent her fans into a royal frenzy when she announced intent to bring her brigade of legendary hits back to the gambling capital for another multi-date run.
Kicking off May 28, the limited engagement will see Anita return to the Venetian to perform multiple shows before wrapping up the gig on June 4.
At writing, the June 4 date stands as the residency’s conclusion, but Baker has already teased extending her stay on the Strip due to high demand from ticket buyers.
“We were initially going to hang out in Vegas Memorial Day Weekend,” the R&B icon stated in the video above. “…but you guys are not playing so I think we’re going to put up 2 shows and we’re going to just hang out in Vegas. If we like it, we’ll put up some more.”

I would love to see Anita Baker in Vegas. But, the ticket prices are so jacked up in Vegas. The cheap seats will go for $500 and I can’t afford that. Hopefully she will do a small tour where I can pay $200 for a front row seat.
Well yes she was a hit back then with Sweet Love thats our song. Can’t make the price and Vegas pandemic still got us catching up. Ha and we won’t spend extra 9n no singing show. Use that on things we need clothes and fixing cars etc. Gotta remember we gotta come back home. We not coming back broke. We hope she will b the same in singing. Cuz her hair and that blue eye shadow looks awful seriously she looks terrible.We know she not young any more.
