Because the much-loved stage-blazer has inked a seismic book deal to pen her own memoir.

According to Page Six, publisher Simon & Schuster won the rights for the memoir after a fierce bidding war.
And while numbers were not officially disclosed, the sum was touted as being “recording-breaking” and possibly north of $15 million.
It’s easy to see what the incentive is for Britney.
Beyond being one of the world’s most successful performers, the 40-year-old’s story has been a constant fixture in the headlines – especially in recent years.
A controversial conservatorship governed her personal and professional life for over 13 years following a public breakdown in 2007.
And during that period the singer’s media presence, outside of contracted Las Vegas shows, was largely mute.
That all changed in December last year when her legal bid for freedom was granted and the conservatorship was terminated after Britney articulated that it was “abusive” and exploited her in unfathomable ways. She told a court it left her “traumatized.”
In the time since, she hasn’t held back and instead seems committed to holding her family – who she says benefitted from the conservatorship – accountable. Including sister Jamie Lynn, with whom she has engaged in a public war of words over her own tell-all book.
