Demi Lovato Promises Return to ‘Emo-Rock’ On Next Album / Releases ‘FIIMY’ Acoustic Video

Demi Lovato may have a wall full of Gold and Platinum plaques for a brigade of Pop-leaning hits, but now the GRAMMY nominee says its time to reverse their sound back to its ‘roots.’

In a recent interview with ‘Rolling Stone’ the 29-year-old reiterated the intent to drive their next album in the direction of Emo-Rock.

“…there’s a bit of… and when I say heaviness, I don’t mean lyrically, but heaviness as in some of the sound that I haven’t done before, which is exciting. It’s a new era reminiscent of my first era,” Lovato revealed.

The chat with RS came just moments after the acoustic version of ‘FIIMY’ – Demi’s duet with Winnetka Bowling League – made its premiere on YouTube.

I don’t agree but I agree lol I mean Demi’s always been pop-rock from the jump but Tell Me You Love Me which is allegedly her “R&B-pop era” is her best album IMO. at least she’s keeping Oak as a musical partner
