When it comes to the release of her delayed first studio album, she had this to say:
“I’ve put my foot down. I’m going to finally lock in to record this album.”
She then went on to promise that it will arrive “definitely before the summer.” Moreover, she went on to say that the project will be complex and will “address the different layers of who I am as a woman.”
She did not give a specific date as to when the project will be released. However, she recently released her song ‘Closer’ with H.E.R., which has gone on to peak at #89 on the Billboard Hot 100 as of reporting.
