Saweetie fans (affectionately called #ICYGang) may be impatiently awaiting the delivery of her serially-delayed debut studio album, ‘Pretty B*tch Music,’ but a recent interview reveals the rapstress also has her sights set on delivering something else.

Originally due June 2021, Saweetie (born Diamonte Harper) pushed ‘PBM’ back to an undisclosed date due to a desire to refresh its content.  Though she reported the January 2022 unveiling of an EP to tide her fans over, the month came and went with no new project.

That changed last week when Harper lifted the lid on ‘Closer,’ her new single with fellow Bay-born beauty H.E.R.  Reigniting hope the arrival of ‘PBM’ is closer than ever before, the rapper’s hit the promo trail in the tune’s support to reiterate the fact.

Taking to ‘The Real,’ Q99.7 Radio, and more on a promotional onslaught over the week, it was Harper’s visit to Los Angeles’ Power 106 FM’s ‘Power Mornings’ that got the most buzz.

Chatting with resident hosts Letty and Teddy, Saweetie beamed when talking about her professional life (business deals, new music, etc.) and personal aspirations – which include motherhood.

“I’m a Cancer, so I’m a nurturer; I just love babies,” she revealed. “I do have a lot of work ahead of me though, so I’m going to wait until I drop this album.  After the album drops, then we can talk about it.”

After the host asked if Rihanna‘s recently announced pregnancy further fueled Harper’s desire for motherhood, the conversation pivoted toward getting the ‘Work’ diva in the studio to work on an icy collaboration.

‘She’s pregnant right now,’ Saweetie started at the 14:41 mark. ‘[Rihanna]…she’s at the top of my wishlist.’
