Taking to press, the IFPI – the organization that represents the recording industry worldwide – announced that Adele’s ’30’ was the best-performing album of 2021.
’30’ bests several big projects from several musicians, such as: Olivia Rodrigo‘s ‘Sour,’ Justin Bieber‘s ‘Justice,’ Dua Lipa‘s ‘Future Nostalgia,’ and more.
Adele’s most recent album topped the charts globally and earned 3x Platinum status in the United States, which made it the best-selling female album of the decade so far. Moreover, ’30’ spawned the top 5 hits ‘Oh My God,’ and ‘Easy On Me.’
