The rapper’s smash hit single samples Tom Tom Club‘s ‘Genius of Love’ – which was most famously sampled by Mimi on her 1995 classic ‘Fantasy.’
Now, it appears the stars are aligning for the ultimate team-up.
The first wind folk got of the collab was when Latto unwrapped the tracklist for her sophomore album, ‘777.’
As reported, the set arrived today – but sans the bonus track that had the name of its guest feature blurred out. Eagle-eyed fans speculated it was Carey.
With the femcee revealing that the ‘Big Energy’ remix is arriving on Monday (March 28), it’s clear she and the songbird have begun the teasing.
