Miley Cyrus is breathing a sigh of relief today, following a rocky plane ride that overcame worrying odds.

Via social media, the performer revealed that her flight to Asunción, Paraguay became caught a storm and was hit by lightning.
Luckily for her and all aboard, the pilot managed to make an emergency landing.
She said:
“To my fans and everyone worried after hearing about my flight to Asunción. Our plane was caught in a major unexpected storm and struck by lighting. My crew , band , friends and family who were all traveling with me are safe after an emergency landing. We were unfortunately unable to fly into Paraguay. ???? I LOVE YOU.”

Suffice to say, this gives new meaning to a lucky escape. Our thoughts are with all who were on board the flight.
