It looks like Miley Cyrus has some more persuading to do.

Just one week after ‘Bass Persuades’ danced its way to #1 on the Billboard 200, the album has taken a history-making tumble.

Full story below…

Cyrus’ tenth studio album plunges from #1 to #157 in its second week.

The 156-position fall is the biggest drop from #1 ever recorded by a female artist on the Billboard 200.

It also places ‘Bass Persuades’ among the steepest #1 descents in the chart’s history:

#1 → OFF – Travis Scott, ‘Days Before Rodeo’
#1 → #169 – Bon Jovi, ‘This House Is Not for Sale’
#1 → #157 – Miley Cyrus, ‘Bass Persuades’
#1 → #139 – Tyler, the Creator, ‘Call Me If You Get Lost’
#1 → #111 – Celine Dion, ‘Courage’
#1 → #97 – Brand New, ‘Science Fiction’
#1 → #88 – Brockhampton, ‘Iridescence’
#1 → #77 – Madonna, ‘Madame X’
#1 → #70 – Yeat, ‘Lyfestyle’

The nosedive follows an unexpectedly strong opening for the project, which debuted with 61,000 equivalent units after initially being projected to start considerably lower.

With Miley set to hit the Hollywood Bowl for two major shows later this month, all eyes will be on whether the live push can help give the era another jolt.

The album needed to be longer

Industry plant/nepo baby that just happened to have talent but not a big enough audience for the Britney effect they wanted. This makes sense. Still was a good album and she proved herself with her talent a long time ago. She should be happy that she’s putting out good music overall and not just random albums to past the time.
