Taking to Twitter, she revealed that she was offered $150,000 for her masters, but she turned down the offer.
“This KNOWN label just offered me 150k for all my masters. . . Do I look like a crackhead to you. Y’all labels getting to bold. really makes me wonder about the artists under they sh*t.”
Many were quick to call her out and claim that she lied about the amount that she was offered. However, Cupcakke was quick to clap back sharing that she just turned down an offer for $750,000 just last week.
“I lied about 150k? … when I just turn down 750k last week? In order to turn down 750k b**ch im clearly making more than that. I’m THAT girl.”
Cupcake did not reveal what major label it was that offered to buy her masters.
Her catalogue features the previously released albums ‘Eden,’ ‘Ephorize,’ and ‘Queen Elizabitch.’ All received acclaim from music critics and placed on year-end lists.
Smart woman.
Her and Leslie Jones I have a soft spot for.
The industry destroys them and when they want out of this life, fake sympathy.
I genuinely hope Cupcakke doesn’t retire and finds spiritual and mental peace.
