The release of new music comes nearly two years after the ‘Stay With Me’ singer’s most recent album, ‘Love Goes.’ The project included the international hits ‘Diamonds’ and ‘Promises’ with Calvin Harris. Moreover, it became their third album to be certified Platinum or higher in the United States (as we reported here).

Because Adele & Sam are NOT traditional R&B. They are POP singers who blend in SOULFUL elements. Like Lionel Richie did in the 80’s,
“Dancing With a Stranger” is the closes thing to R&B THEY have done.
Listen, I get what you’re saying…but Legend Lionel is on a WHOLE nother level entirely lol…he’s one of the greatest songwriters ever…HELLO 😂👀 I don’t think Pop music HAS to be bland or watered down at ALL..in fact, it can be ANYTHING as Madonna, Michael, Janet, Cyndi, George Michael, Gaga etc. have all proven…Sam and Adele are simply playing it WAY too safe in my opinion…let’s talk! Do you think Sam and Adele need more flavor in their music? *Oprah voice* 😂 I think they are capable of serving MUCH more than they do! Now I agree, their music is very SAFE. Whitney was a VOCALISTS yet she scored multiple Uptempo hits. So being a vocalists is no excuse for the Funeral OR Nursing home music.
