Over four years after announcing her intent to retire from the music business, R&B songbird Tamar Braxton is ready to fly back up R&B charts.
The GRAMMY-nominated star, who has been teasing new music since the top of the year (as we reported here), took to Instagram Tuesday night (April 26) to confirm her beloved fans – affectionately called #Tamartians – are closer than ever to hearing what she’s been cooking up in the lab.

As seen in the post above, Braxton sent her fans into a frenzy with news she’s not only hitting the road soon but that she’ll also be unveiling ‘something new’ along the way.
“If you would be so lucky to get a ticket. I’ll have something special and NEW for you,” she captioned on IG.
Many of the stops will see the 45-year-old help fill out a star-studded collective of hitmakers aboard a ‘R&B Fest/Experience’ tour that’s toplined by Keith Sweat, Tevin Campbell, 112, and more.
And while she did not confirm the arrival date of her new music, she did use the hashtag #UnderConstruction – leading many to believe her next album, the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Bluebird of Happiness,’ will be titled such.
