‘I Never Liked You’ sold 222,000 equivalent units to snatch the top spot.

While a strategic merchandise bundle assisted with the feat, Future’s figure was powered in earnest by streaming.

That’s good on him tbh atleast he isn’t considered a “major” artist that only sends up selling 9k…

I guess any excuse is better than none! I remember when Xtina’s Bionic “bombed” by selling 115k in its first week and everyone called her a flop. Now mofos are barely selling 20k in physical albums alone but are being saved by streaming which is not considered a legit sale and y’all call them winners. Streaming Just a way to inflate album sales so you don’t look like a total loser.

Actually Artist get paid for 1 Album sale per 1,500 album streams.

SO If the Masses Stream enough to push 20k pure to a SPS of over a 200k equivalent then so be it cause obviously Streaming directly affects Pure Sales so WHY SHOULDN’T STREAMS COUNT?

      • Diabetes UNBOTHERED May 8, 2022

Its either make Streams Count or lose the privilege of streaming music altogether. Hardly makes sense to stream an album via subcription AND buy it.

There should have been two charts made, one for sales and one for streaming. Combining them makes the chart sort of arbitrary TBH

Like we are all pretending like people actuality bought that many copies but they didn’t. It’s really silly but whatever

Exactly streaming should be it’s own chart. It’s different from actual albums.

LOL sales? Um, his actual physical sales were only 12k. This new generation would literally be nonexistent without streaming. LMAO.
