The singles chart in the UK is heating up.
For, Harry Styles and Lizzo are in a neck and neck race for the coveted #1 position.

Taking to press, the Official Charts Company gave their midweek chart update. In that report, Styles’ ‘As It Was’ is currently leading the race and could secure a ninth week at #1 in his home country.
However, Lizzo is close behind, as she sits at #2 on the update with her global smash ‘About Damn Time.’
Either way, chart history is set to be made. For, ‘As It Was’ will continue its streak as the longest-running #1 song of the year or Lizzo will secure her first-ever UK #1.
‘As It Was’ can be found on the former One Direction member’s latest album, ‘Harry’s House.’ Recently, the project debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart and the UK album’s chart with the biggest first-week sales of Styles’ career.
On the other hand, Lizzo’s ‘About Damn Time’ is slated to appear on her upcoming album, ‘Special’ – due out July 15.
