Michael Jackson‘s masterpiece ‘Thriller’ is set to be celebrated anew with the release of a special 40th-anniversary edition.

Widely hailed as the King of Pop’s magnum opus, the album is home to seismic classics such as ‘Billie Jean,’ ‘Beat It,’ ‘Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin,’ and its thrilling title track.
With over 100 million copies sold, ‘Thriller’ is the best-selling album of all time. And now it’s poised to add to that number with the upcoming arrival of ‘Michael Jackson Thriller 40.’
Set for release on November 18, it arrives as a double CD collection comprised of MJ’s original ‘Thriller’ album and a second disc packed full of surprises. These will include previously unheard material Jackson worked on for the game-changing LP.
And there will be formats aplenty.
For, Walmart will stock an exclusive version of the original ‘Thriller’ album with an alternate 40th-anniversary cover, while the Target edition will sell an exclusive version of the original album with a commemorative ‘Thriller 40’ vinyl slipmat. International fans will be able to snap these up too, via local retailers.

Thriller goes platinum every 2 years in America, and it still sells a s*** load worldwide. It’s been on the charts for 10 years and has 3 billion streams on Spotify. It’s just extremely popular still and I think the vinyls are popular. And in 09 he passed and he sold a lot of albums after that.
