The Lovers & Friends Festival proved to be memorable on a number of fronts.
For, while attendees lapped up performances from the star-studded line-up (which included the likes of Usher, Ciara, and Lil Kim), an issue with stampeding led to injuries.

Per FOX 5, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police shared that around 10 pm on May 14, gunfire was reportedly heard at the event. This caused a “large group” to try and leave at the same time – resulting in what some attendees have called a “stampede.”
In a press release, LVMPD clarified that murmurs of a shooting were “unfounded” and the event continued.
Three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
