B2K’s J-Boog BLASTS Omarion Over “Background Dancer” Jab: “Chris Brown Took Your Career”

Published: Sunday 26th Jun 2022 by Sam

The drama between B2K‘s members is boiling to scorching degrees in the wake of Omarion‘s VERZUZ battle with Mario.

As reported, the latter brought out impersonators to mock the much-publicized issues within the band.

The move not only generated laughs from those watching but also from B2K members J-Boog and Raz-B.

Needless to say, Omarion did not see the humor and launched a tirade against his former comrades – branding them his “three backup dancers” who always sought his “downfall.”

Now, J-Boog has weighed in with a lengthy letter spilling his side of the B2K fall-out and landed a number of zingers on O.

See what we mean below…

Taking to Instagram, Boog wrote:

“I’ll just leave this here. The lies and bs stops here. No post will be made after this. Just a lil truth for those who wanna know the real. @omarion.”

Unpacking his sentiments, Boog dropped many a piercing point. Key quotes included:

“This thing we call b2k was never the Omarion show. it was more like a circus and each guy brought a special attraction and collectively it was fun to watch. Watching you only let’s me know that you were not really paying attention to what was making you Omarion because without us around it’s clear you can’t tap back into him. You look lost, almost like you looking for us to feed off. You are a fame hog and that got the best of you.”

And…

“Fame is a hell of a drug I know when we were together as a group you wanted to be the most famous aka the most favorite…but that wasn’t case. Fizz and Boog were the favorites. And you couldn’t understand that because you sung all the leads (by old school group design) but the guy who only talked on the track and in interviews (ME) and the other guy who rapped on our singles (FIZZ) were getting more love than you.”

As well as:

“Chris Brown took your career and Bow Wow just took your tour.

Concluding the clap back, Boog said:

“If I was a backup dancer, you were a dancer wit a record deal. Neither of us was singing fool lmao. Welcome to the jungle n**ga, hope you survive the night”

B2K does know we all looking at them sideways. Chris stokes and marques Houston still have NOT been brought to justice over Raz B’s claims of what those CHILDREN at the time went through. side eye to letting him getting away with being a PERV

I’m getting sooooo tired of these sensitive asssss B2K niggasss crying over BS every damn year for the past 15 years. Legendary girl groups don’t cry and go back and forth like these sensitive asssss niggasss. Hell you’d think B2K was the most successful male R&B group ever and on par with Jackson 5, Boyz 2 Men or New Edition. Hell they aren’t even as successful and talented as K-CI and Jojo duo let alone Jodeci. They had a nice lil run for a few years but lets be honest nobody in B2K would even crack the top 50 of most successful and important R&B singers/artist.

Boogie read the entire fk out of Omari. I like all of them and will forever be a fan; been a fan of their camp before they was even a camp; but Boog is right but at the same time I’m sure Chris Stokes and his sidekick Taz (even though they act like they don’t work together anymore but they really do on the low low). Instead of arguing w each other (B2K) they need to try to get Chris and Taz locked up bc they are the real reason behind all the bullcrap that was and is going on. They sitting here arguing with each other but Chris and Taz is still making millions (especially Taz).

    Oh my!

If there was any chance of you guys ever reuniting, that ship has probably sailed. It’s absolutely ridiculous how you guys are letting a low budget Internet show f*ck the bag up. Clearly you guys are NOT businesses minded at all. And that’s the problem. You’re ALL getting money, who gives a f*ck about popularity.

I hate to say this but this is why so many Black Men are NOT winning in the economic race. You fight each other over high school sh** such as popularity. I would be so embarrassed to even reveal this publicly because it’s cringe especially for 30+ year old men.

J Boog was always the mature one in the group! Omarion solo tours never popped he always latch on to was hit at the moment to hop on his tours! Without them he wouldn’t be where he is now besides his solo vocals were never amazing either lol

J~Boog acting like he wasn’t on LAHH crying about $$$ and a reunion tour too lol. All of them stay crying about stuff that happened 20 years ago. Get over it.

I’m living for the mess & tea but at the end of the day I can’t help but wonder if any of them are aware of B2K’s actual impact in the industry, which was virtually none. and now Omarion got his 2 fans updating their Wikipedia page to talk s*** about the other members lol check it out

No lies told. Do they even have any #1 or even top 20 hits? Platinum albums?? They were popular amongst the teenage 106 and Park crowd 20 years ago but their impact didn’t reach too far from that. Even Bow Wow has more credentials…. They are NOT on the level of New Edition, Boyz II Men, Jodeci, Dru Hill, 112 or Jagged Edge.

These are the same issues they were fighting about before they reunited only three years ago for the Millennium Tour. They need mentors to help them understand that they can’t keep pushing their issues under the rug whenever it’s convenient to make some money. It’s more important physically, emotionally, and spiritually that they sort through the issues PRIVATELY so these public media fights don’t continue to happen; all it does is add to the trauma.

“Think of the messiest b**** you know.
    It’s a man ain’t it?”

The part about Steve Russell singing Omarion’s leads on the album got me pulling up the tracks to hear the forgery. That’s the biggest bomb Boog dropped.

B2K I will always be a big fan no matter what but for “O” to call out boog, raz b and fizz his back up dancer that was disrespectful because everybody is talented in the group and everybody got they own talent. It just that “O” really think that he was the super star in the group no it don’t work like that… yes he did had songs that we like but B2K songs where more popular. I’m just saying facts because that’s some BS to just say that oh these are my back up dancers like come on now what kind of stuff is that. So I don’t blame boog for going off on him cause he is right 100% you can’t talk cause everybody got some information about you cause they was there. I’m still riding with B2K no matter what!!!
