Elton John and Dua Lipa continue to bring the heat with their single ‘Cold Heart.’
Case in point, the song has now landed John a feat he hasn’t seen in over two decades.

Taking to press, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that ‘Cold Heart’ has now been certified 2x Platinum in the United States for the sales equivalent of 2,000,000 units.
As a result, the song has achieved a major feat for John. With its upgraded certification, ‘Cold Heart’ has now become his first multi-platinum song in 25 years.
Notably, his last song to achieve multi-platinum certification was his 1997 hit ‘Candle in the Wind,’ which has been certified 11x Platinum.
Moreover, ‘Cold Heart’ was also his first top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100 since ‘Candle in the Wind’ as well.
Needless to say, a huge congratulations is in order.
