Meghan Trainor has been cooking up new music.
Case in point, she has just announced a brand new album and it is set to arrive this year.

Taking to Twitter, the ‘All About That Bass’ songstress announced the news and the name of the project. Entitled ‘Takin’ It Back,’ the album is set to arrive on October 21.

The news of a new album comes shortly after she announced the first single for the project, ‘Bad For Me,’ is due out on June 24. The song features fellow singer Teddy Swims and Trainor teased the song earlier this week (as we reported here).
‘Takin’ It Back’ is set to be the superstar’s first album since the release of 2020’s ‘Treat Myself.’

I’m glad that she keeps on going on. I’m still mad against the label for the cancel of the original previous album that was supposed to sound like “Let You Be Right” or most of the hits we’ve been listening to this 2 last years with Dua Lipa and others.
I love the outfit on the cover of the new album, that’s beautiful but I’m not sure about the background visual. I feel like there are too many elements and colors around but with such a beautiful outfit I think a simple pink or a white background would have been greater.
