Jennifer Lopez has collaborated with many a notable name over the course of her career, but one of the most personally resonating for her has been her sing-a-longs with her teen Emme.
During the pair’s latest performance at the LA Dodges Blue Diamond Gala, J.Lo introduced her child using gender-neutral pronouns.

51-year-old Lopez said the following to the capacity crowd:
“The last time we performed together was in a big stadium like this. And I ask them to sing with me all the time and they won’t.
So this is a very special occasion. They are very, very busy. Booked. And pricey. They cost me when they come out. But they’re worth every single penny because they’re my favorite duet partner of all time.”
Following Lopez’s remarks, Emme joined Mom on-stage stage holding a rainbow microphone. Together, they delivered a duet of ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri.

This brings tears to my eyes. As a mother with a 6 year old son that’s recently come out as gender binary I am so proud of the family for embracing her child Beautiful journey. I understand everything but of it. My sons so smart for his age already figuring out his identity. I honestly couldn’t be any more proud

Geeeeez give us a fu<king break. And I have absolutely zero issues with gender transition, non binary as in not identifying with « norms » and all that.
But that BS they are trying to force down our throat is too much.
There’s boys and girls at birth. What you decide to do with your life and not feeling ok with current norms or whatever you want to call it is absolutely fine and understandable.
Norms evolve, look at clothes for example.
But this is way too much. Soon it will be forbidden to say women carry children.
Non-binary would make more sense if they didn’t care what pronouns people used. Call them he or she or they or whatever, it shouldn’t matter to them.
