When Beyonce kicked off her ‘Renaissance’ album campaign in British Vogue, the piece promised “music in abundance.”
And it’s become apparent that this was meant rather literally.
Because on the eve of the official release of the eagerly anticipated LP, Queen Bey has revealed that it’s a multi-part project.

Moments ago, the megastar shared a personal message expanding on the concept of the project and expressing gratitude to fans:
“This three-act project was recorded over three years during the pandemic. A time to be still, but also a time I found to be the most creative. Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world.
It allowed me to feel free and adventurous… My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration.

For what I know she will release the act 2 and 3 in the next 12 month so I guess we will have act 2 (which is supposed to be afrobeats) in the end of year/begin of 2023 and the act 3 (hip-hop/rnb, the most interesting for me) will be release before or around the next summer.
I’m shocked! This is her worst album yet! Unfortunately all the songs sound like leftovers, bsides and album filler 🥴 In saying all that. Church girl and Plastic on the sofa are diamonds in the rough 😬
I start to appreciate more Cozy, Energy and Cuff It personally, even thought they’re sounds more like vibes than hits to me. I only like the chorus of Alien Superstar but I don’t like that supercocky attitude. All Up In Your Mind is probably my favorite, the instrumental is really good. I don’t feel attracted to the others, I just can’t catch a melody to keep them in mind yet.
Yes it’s hard to find a catchy melody from any of the songs besides bms. The songs you mentioned are definitely growing on me though.

The album will go platinum quick because she sold the most of the total in precommands when people didn’t even know what the sound is about. I don’t think she’s too old or too fat but she do steals others, that’s not a legend anymore. She could litteraly p*ss on the floor and tell the world is art, the beehive and the influencial people around her will say it’s art and so everybody that doesn’t feel the same would be an idiot for y’all.
Is that not the definition of success that your fanbase is committed enough to buy your music before they even hear it?
Many artists cannot boast of this. To suggest that’s the only reason it’s going platinum when all Beyoncé studio albums have gone platinum because she creates good music that fans and the casual listener enjoy is reductive.
And still that doesn’t mean it’s all about quality, these types of blind sales can’t reflect the quality. Sucess is when your music is selling well through the time because people recognise it’s good, not just in the first month of its release by anticipation no matter what is sounds like. There are so many albums that got critical acclaimed from the music critic while they didn’t even went platinum shortly after their release date.

This will be old news once Taylor release her re-recording project later this year. Bey is lucky that Taylor chose not to release the same day or else Bey will have to settle for number 2. Bey will sell out because she’s a great performer but other than than relax and stay home with them kids.

People are so easily hyped. What is “epic” about three acts? It’s no different than an artist planning three albums in advance which isn’t unusual since contracts stipulate how many albums an artist is expected to record. It’s one big gimmick.
The trick is in the title “Renaissance” under a trilogy of black music sounds. Beyoncé is trying to introduce herself as the one that will redefine black music in the world and that’s why she’s releasing 3 albums under 1 title that cas a double meaning, rebirth and a period of history and an artistic movement. She already showed us she was on the black theme with Lemonade and Black is King. I really believe she tries to be the one that will remind everyone these genre of music are black and so, wins the affection and respect of all the community that will say something like Beyoncé is making history impact by giving back the music to the black worldwide.
But it’s not redefining s*** because drake just dropped a house album and afrobeats is one of the biggest genres in the world right now

Did you really read what I said? Beyoncé is releasing 3 albums, each one has a black genre theme under the same name “Renaissance”. She’s releasing a trilogy of all the black major genre today, I’m not saying she is about to redefine black music but that her goal is to pretend to be the one that will give back the music to black, free from the white supremacist.
