Harry Styles is headed to college.
For, a university in Texas is now offering a course on the former One Direction member.

Louie Dean Valencia, associate professor of digital history at Texas State University, announced last week that he will be teaching an Honors College course titled “Harry Styles and the Cult of Celebrity: Identity, the Internet and European Pop Culture” in Spring 2023.

The flyer that was posted in the Tweet goes into greater details as to what the course will cover and how Styles plays into the “cultural and political development of the modern celebrity as related to questions of gender and sexuality, race, class, nation and globalism, media, fashion, fan culture, internet culture, and consumerism.”
One of the many tasks the course will have students do is to create a podcast about the topic as well as examining the ‘As It Was’ singer’s music and films.
Styles is not the first musician to have a course offered about them over the last year. Previously, his ex, Taylor Swift, also received a course covering her that is offered at NYU.
