And it’s coming sooner than folk may think. For, the song will be released this Friday (August 12).
But that’s not all!
Lennox also revealed that her long-awaited sophomore album is incoming.

Ari’s music is NOT alternative R&B 🙄 her music is traditional/soulful R&B.
Maybe her NEWER music is more Traditional R&B but a lot of her older music wasn’t.
Her music wasn’t well received until she linked up with Jermaine Dupri for “Pressure”.
Even her EP “Pho” had a traditional R&B/soulful sound. When I think of alt R&B; SZA, Jhene, Frank Ocean and the likes come to mind. Ari isn’t giving that. One could say Pressure is her most “mainstream” offering but even that has a throwback soulful sound.
All they care about on here is sales. Talent doesn’t matter. I hope Ari continues to make great rnb music. I’m looking forward to the new album. Pressure was a great lead single and I’m glad it experienced the success that it did. Shea Butter Baby was one of the best R&B albums I’ve heard in a long time.

The 1st Ari song I ever heard was “Yuengling” and it isn’t given Traditional R&B/Soul. Now I agree she does have a very soulful voice but I never heard her sing Soul ballads like Fantasia or Ledisi.
I would categorize Ari’s music as contemporary soul. She considers herself to be a soul singer. With a ratchet twist lol.
