Teased in earnest in recent weeks, the duet (which re-imagines John’s 1972 classic ‘Tiny Dancer’) now has a confirmed release date of August 26 (next Friday).
‘Closer’ notably serves as Spears’ first release since the termination of her conservatorship last December and her first original musical offering since 2016’s ‘Glory.’
