Jhene Aiko Scores Highest-Certified Song Of Her Career With ‘Sativa’

Jhene Aiko has a a reason to celebrate.

For, the acclaimed songstress has just earned the highest-certified song of her career.

Taking to press, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that her song ‘Sativa’ has now been certified 5x Platinum for the sales equivalent of 5,000,000 units in the United States.

As a result, the song has now gone on to become her highest-certified single to date in the country. It bests the 3x certification of her songs ‘Beware’ with Big Sean and Lil Wayne and her breakout single ‘The Worst.’

The original version is lifted from Aiko’s 2017 album ‘Trip’ and it features Swae Lee. To date, the song has been streamed a massive 271 million times on Spotify and is her most popular song on the music platform.

Needless to say, a huge congratulations is in order.

    I feel like this is one of her most forgettable songs. Sad her biggest sellers feature rappers. Goes to show ppl do NOT really appreciate her ART.
